This paper talks about interaction design from a high-level view. It offers valuable guidelines for but not limited to Ubiquitous Computing. We can perform a walk-through to our system design to see if these five questions are well answered.
Attention: how do the devices answer me?
Action: how do I manipulate GUI objects?
Alignment: how do the devices give me results?
Accident: what do I do when accidents happen?
However, we don't have to have total belief in these five questions. In my opinion they are fairly theoretical and need to be *normalized* in real practice.
